Located in the lush heart of Snowdonia, the dark sky friendly exterior lighting of the Plas y Brenin Outdoor Centre is developed by Dark Source in collaboration with Snowdonia National Park Authority & Prosiect Nos. The project aimed to reduce energy & material waste and impact on biodiversity whilst creating an inviting night-time experience. Besides restoring the dark skies & reducing the annual CO2 emission by 2 tonnes, the project has won several design awards and was featured by the BBC One's Countryfile.
