From way back in the distant past, we took refuge around the fire at night and exchanged stories which nurtured us. Under One Sky is audiovisual experience, exploring the meanings and values of dark skies through a series of short stories and poems from culturally diverse perspectives. It invites visitors to sit around the phosphorescent hearth and share the appreciation and humility which the natural night sky has inspired for generations.

The art installation was produced by Dark Source, Mayo Dark Skies & Sound design by Yaprak Goker Swambo of Atelier Serendipity. Developed for the Culture Night event at Wild Nephin Dark Sky Park in Ballycroy.
